GUIDELINES FOR COMPREHENSIVE EXAMS
DATE: March 16, 2009
SCOPE: All concepts in NCM 100
GUIDELINES:
1. You are expected to be at your assigned rooms at least 15 minutes before the
designated time. 2. Since scantron sheets are already collected before the exam, the only items allowed
during the exam are the following: a. (2) Pencils/eraser/sharpener
b. Permit - NO PERMIT NO EXAM. We encourage you to settle your account at least 3
days before the exam. c. Umbrella (optional)
3. NO CELLULAR PHONES, handouts and bags are allowed in the testing rooms.
4. Absences and tardiness will not be tolerated. MAKE UP EXAMS will be given only to
those who have DOCUMENTED MEDICAL/EMERGENCY CONDITIONS. 5. Wear your COMPLETE CAMPUS UNIFORM. Female students are encouraged to neatly
pull their hair up in a bun. 6. The examination is a 150 item exam and students will be given 2 and a half hours to
finish the exam. 7. NO STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO LOITER in the vicinity of the testing area during
and after the examination. We encourage everyone to leave the premises as soon as they have finished the exams. Students who are found to be loitering beyond the exam time will be written up. 8. Please see the attached schedule of the Comprehensive Exams for your respective
room assignments. 9. A faculty will escort you should you need to use the wash room.
10. Any form of cheating will automatically be given a failing grade.
11. Comprehensive Exam is equivalent to 20% of your total grade in NCM 100 Theory.
